The Alchemy of Bees

My design draws inspiration from the bee hives at Parndon Mill in Harlow. My lion is adorned with a profusion of flowers for them to visit, and hidden among the blooms are the bees themselves, waiting to be discovered across the sculpture. Bees often represent renewal and resilience because they transform simple nectar into something precious. For me, they are a symbol of hope and sweetness even in challenging times.
