The Staples Road Butterfly Lion

The Lion was inspired by the book the Butterfly Lion my Michael Morpurgo, which is read by all children in Year 5 at Staples Road. The Lion was initially spray painted by Marshalls Paint and Repair centre in Loughton. Then each child in the school created a butterfly to stick on the Lion so that it was covered in tiny, unique, beautiful butterflies.
